How the days order themselves
Stops on a day are arranged into the shortest route between them. The time between two stops is a suggested subway journey built from the MTA’s published schedule. Tap any stop to move it to another day.
Ways to save
Standing offers, not deals of the dayMuseums
Pay what you wish
The Met sets its own price for New York State residents, and the Natural History Museum does the same for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Bring ID.
Check the termsFree evenings
MoMA is free on Friday evenings and the Whitney is pay what you wish then too. Both release timed tickets in advance and they go quickly.
Check the terms9/11 Museum, Monday evenings
Free entry for the last couple of hours on Mondays, first come, first served. The memorial pools outside are always free.

Broadway
TKTS booths
Same-day seats at up to half price. The Times Square booth has the longest queue; Lincoln Center and Downtown Brooklyn are quieter for the same stock.
Check the termsDigital lotteries and rush
Most shows run a lottery the day before and a rush window when the box office opens. Often the cheapest seats in the house.

Attractions
Bundle passes
CityPASS and Go City bundle the observation decks and big museums. They only pay off if you are doing three or more paid attractions, so count first.
Check the termsPick one deck, not three
Top of the Rock is the only one whose view contains the Empire State Building. SUMMIT is the mirrored one, Edge has the glass floor.
Getting around
The OMNY fare cap
Tap the same card or phone for every ride. After 12 paid rides between Monday and Sunday the rest of that week is free.
Check the termsThe free ferry
The Staten Island Ferry costs nothing and passes the Statue of Liberty both ways. The NYC Ferry is a flat fare and just as scenic.
Prices across the app are typical adult rates compiled in September 2026. They are a planning figure, not live data, and New York changes them often. Every ticketed item links to the operator’s own page for the number you will actually pay.
